Assistant Professor of Research in Pharmacology
Dr. Cindy Yang is an Assistant Professor of Research in the Department of Pharmacology at Weill Cornell Medicine. She earned her B.Sc. in Molecular Biotechnology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2009 and her Ph.D. in the Department of Nutrition from the University of Connecticut in 2014. In the same year, she joined Dr. Anthony Sauve's lab as a postdoctoral researcher and was later promoted to Instructor in 2019. In 2022, she was further promoted to Assistant Professor of Research and assumed the role of Principal Investigator following the unfortunate passing of Dr. Sauve. Dr. Yang's current research focuses on investigating the alterations in NAD+ metabolism associated with aging.
